The incubator was locked down on Saturday.  That means that I took out the egg turner that keeps the eggs moving slightly for 21 days (so the chick doesn't malform. The siding that is...the answer is well mostly!  It's a balmy 42* outside today, but no workers.  I guess they need to wait for the next 19* day. Grin. All the siding is actually on the house...now it is down to just the trim around the windows and doors.  It looks really nice.  I wish they had sided the 'mudroom' add on.  It looks odd now without matching the house. :(  But it is what it is.

On my 101 in 1001 list, I decided to do 3 Month of Nothings per year.  All the saved grocery money, etc going to debt.  With me not working now and not getting an income, it's even more important to save $$.  The money saved likely will not go to pay the debt, but to pay the ordinary bills. Today I am grateful for friends.  Friends that touch our lives in so many different ways.  We had dinner on Monday night with a family that we are friends with.  We so rarely go anywhere that this was a huge treat.  The moms had mom time, the dads had dad time, and the boys!  We'll these are my boy's best buds so they had a blast!  Thank you so much!  It may have been a just little get together

Finally...no rain...at least so far.  I've collected 24 eggs, and 2 duck eggs.  Boy just came to tell me he found a big nest of them in the grain barn breeze way.  As soon as he brings them in, I'll "float" them to find out if they are good.... For my birthday...kinda...I was promised a grain mill so I could grind wheat into flour to make into bread.  ( I realize most people are thinking...when will she move into this century??  I also received a new (to me) computer for myself and the business so there is the "this" century gift.) I picked up my Angel Food Box this past Saturday.  I think I'm going to try and do more "couponing" and grocery gaming this month.  The fridge is basically empty but the freezers are full.  So March is another "Month-of-Almost-Nothing" 2 lbs hamburger steaks (These are HUGE!-8oz each) 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts  2 lbs macaroni & beef entree  1 lb boneless pork chops  1 lb ground

So 40 has...started to....turned around.  We spent the evening with cherished friends.  We all went out to Red Lobster for dinner while Boy spent the evening with his favorite girl and her sister (their girls).  Then the ladies went to Hobby Lobby and the guys went to Lowes.  We met back up at their house and enjoyed a rich and delicious cherry cheesecake with candles on it for my birthday.  AWW.
